A little boy...His eyes opened slowly that morning as the sun beamed through the dirt-covered windows in the place that he slept. He sat up and rubbed his eyes sleepily, looking around at the empty space. He began coughing as he usually did when he first woke up. The fit lasted a little longer than normal, but he just suffered through it as he always did. Once the fit subsided, he headed over to the water pipe on the far side of the room. The pipe leaked, and every night before he went to sleep, he put a pot under the leak to catch the water so he could use it in the morning.
